About the NSPCC Helpline
When you’re worried about a child, talk to us.
If you’re ever worried about a child’s safety or welfare, the NSPCC Helpline is here for you on 0808 800 5000 or help@nspcc.org.uk.

Whatever your concern, we’re here 24 hours a day to offer help, advice and support. You can speak to us for free from a landline, and from most mobile networks. Find out more about call charging and billing.

When you call, you’ll speak to one of our trained helpline advisors. You can discuss anything you need to about a child. We will listen and help you to explore your options.  Find out more about what happens when you contact the helpline.

You don’t have to say who you are, and you can talk to us in confidence in almost all situations. However, if you tell us something that leads us to believe a child is in immediate danger, we have a duty to pass these details on. Find out more about our confidentiality policy.

There are various ways to contact the NSPCC Helpline according to your needs - including a bilingual Welsh service, Asian languages, and a textphone or sign video service for the deaf or hard of hearing. Find out more about the ways to contact the NSPCC Helpline
