We hope this new site captures the present dynamism, vigour and creative energy of Haverhill.
Haverhill is a town in transition. There is a strong sense that the whole area is undergoing sweeping changes and the town is being thrust more and more into the spotlight. Solid foundations are now being laid to secure further transformation and growth.
We hope to contribute to this buoyancy, optimism and impetus through Haverhill-UK's unique ability to position the town on the world stage.
We also wish to encourage insights into the current activity taking place and hope to stimulate debate from all sectors of the community.
Haverhill-UK welcomes the opportunity to work in partnership with other stakeholders in the town, including cultural organisations, communities, public organisations, creative industries, artists, schools and businesses.
This website is not politically or financially motivated. It has served as a community website, sustaining a partnership with the people of Haverhill since 1999.
Features
A desire to raise awareness of the town's strengths, present Haverhill in the very best possible light and elevate its profile in the international arena prompted our decision to build and develop the original Haverhill-UK back in 1998 / 99.
This second generation site now benefits from refined architecture and a new face in line with contemporary expectations. The curved edges conform to today's techno-organic design pulse and the enhanced interactive features reflect the ideologies of Web 2.00
One of the major challenges of the project was the reorganisation of the massive amounts of information on the old site. To accommodate this data and improve the site's potential as a research source, we have created a sophisticated search facility. You will find it at the top of every page. We think you'll be surprised...
