This year's Big Day Out in Haverhill proved to be yet another big success. And for the many children who attended it was a great way to start the school holidays.

Large numbers of people gathered on the Recreation Ground between 10am and 4pm to enjoy a wide selection of activities and to learn more about the various services on offer in the town.

Highlights included a football tournament, a flight simulator and a display of Victorian toys. Spectators were offered the opportunity to decorate a t-shirt using inspiration from the toys on display.

Once again, Haverhill-TV was present to film this year’s event.
