Former Coop building
Up until the late 80s, this building was the home of the Co-operative department store. When this closed, the building was used as an indoor market. Recently it has been used by two leading high street shops. Plans are afoot to build a night club on the upper floors. Note the fine brickwork and the dove cote on the right hand end.
