A day when you can find out all the answers

Monday, 16th April 2012.

Haverhill residents with a problem can take it along to a special Informative Day on Tuesday, April 24, at Leiston Community Centre where a dozen organisations will do their best to come up with a solution.

The day, from 11am to 3pm, is being hosted by One Haverhill and is designed for local people to drop in and talk to the experts about the issues affecting them. The agencies and organisations attending can provide advice and support.

Anne Gower, chair of One Haverhill, said: “I often find that a problem involves more than one issue and it is not simple and straightforward to find a resolution or a compromise.

"This event will enable you to speak to the right people at the right time to help solve your problem.

"If the solution to your problem is not available on the day then you will be given the information to make that contact."

Representatives from organisations dealing with housing, jobs, benefits, debt and health, among others, will be attending. The event is open to all. For information contact Dawn Goss, community development officer, St Edmundsbury Borough Council 01284 757096, dawn.goss@stedsbc.gov.uk
