The Town Council will be entering this competition for the first time next year, and will be liaising with businesses and residents along the planned judging route to ensure a strong entry.
The Town Council will also be looking for support for the entry from businesses not on the route, together with voluntary organisations, horticultural societies, and schools.
The competition, which covers the absence of litter, the use of recycled materials, and other environmental issues as well as floral displays should help raise the profile of Haverhill.
