Appeal after spate of burglaries in the west of Suffolk

Monday, 5th October 2015.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a spate of burglaries in the west of the county.

On Friday 2 October it was discovered that a property in Great Cornard was broken into, along with several others.

Between 6.30pm and 7.50pm, a side door was forced open to gain entry to a property in Kings Meadow, whereby the offender(s) have stolen a number of valuable items of jewellery, 3 iPhones, cash, a designer handbag and an iPad tablet computer.

Three further burglaries also took place. The first, where a home in Pentlow Drive in Cavendish was entered between 4.15pm and 5pm, with a bank card and house keys being taken.

The second happened in a property on Barking Road in Barking between 7pm and 9.20pm, where cash and bank cards were stolen.

The third happened at a property in Semer near to Union Hill between 6.55pm on Thursday 1 October and 4.30pm on Friday 2 October, an eighteen carat gold bracelet and a ladies gold opal ring were taken from within.
