Body found after house fire in Clare

A body has been found following a house fire in Clare this morning.
The fire service and police were called at around 7.50am to reports of a fire at a property in Nethergate Street.
The fire was extinguished a short while later and then a body was found inside the building.
The body has not yet been formally identified and a fire investigation will now take place.
Nethergate Street is currently closed and traffic is being diverted via Ashen and surrounding villages.
