Bowser stolen from research park building site

Friday, 16th August 2013.

Police are appealing for information following the theft of a 250-gallon water bowser from the Haverhill Research Park site.

The building site, off the A1307 at the western edge of Haverhill, was entered sometime between 4pm on Monday, August 5, and 8am the following day and the 250 gallon water bowser with integral generator and power washer unit was stolen.

Two witnesses have contacted police and said that around 9.43pm on the Monday evening two men were seen near to the barriers of the site acting suspiciously.

Police are keen to speak to these two men as they may have information which could help with enquiries.

The first man is described as white, of large build with bald hair and he was wearing a white checked shirt. The second man is also described as white, with a bald head. He was of larger build and wore a black top.

If you know the whereabouts of the bowser, recognise the men from the description, or have any information which could help with this investigation you are asked to call PC Nick Chapman at Haverhill Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
