Burglars and vandals back in action again

After a few weeks' lull, burglars and vandals have been back in action in Haverhill over the last few days.

Another garage in Henry Close was targeted in the early hours of Sunday.

Police are appealing for witnesses after frozen food, CDs and DVDs were stolen from the garage sometime between midnight and 10am on Sunday.

The garage was entered and frozen food from a freezer, and three blue Antler suitcases containing CDs and DVDs were stolen from within.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area should PC Daniel Aston at Haverhill Police on 101 or Criemstoppers on 0800 555 111.

A garage in Henry Close was targeted overnight on Saturday/Sunday the previous weekend.

* Police are also asking for witnesses to a spate of damage caused to vehicles in Templars Court on Tuesday last week between 5pmand 8pm.

A number of cars had their wing mirrors forced back, while a van had its window smashed, but nothing was stolen.

Anyone who saw anything contact Haverhill police on 101.

* A white Vauxhall Corsa was broken into while parked in Greenfields Way, Haverhill sometime between 10.30am and 11.40am on Friday.

A window of the car was smashed and wallet and contents was stolen from inside.

* A van was broken into while parked in Bishops Close sometime between 11am and 12.25pm on Friday.

Two windows of the van were smashed and a Samsung Galaxy tablet and Tom Tom sat nav were stolen from within.

* A black Peugeot 207 car parked in Clements Close had the front and rear near side door scratched with an unknown object sometime between midnight and 11am on Thursday.
