Burglars home in on one street

A residential street in Haverhill has been targeted by burglars for the second week running.
Two weeks ago two homes in Brickfields on the Meadowlands estate were burgled, and now a third one has suffered a similar attack.
Between 9pm on Friday and 8am Saturday, burglars got into a house and various items were stolen, including a men's brown Fossil wallet, a Sony video camera, an Olympus digital camera, a Wii games console, a Wii Fit, an Xbox games console with games and a 42in Plasma screen television.
Two homes in Brickfields were burgled overnight on June 9 and various cash and electronic items taken.
In one case they got in through an insecure door and stole keys, cash, an iPod and two laptops.
In the other they also got in through an insecure door and stole an Xbox, bank cards, a digital camera, a laptop and a mobile phone.
The police are linking all three crimes and calls in relation to them should be made to DC Paul Gant at West Suffolk CID on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
