Burglars steal 51-inch TV from social club

Monday, 21st January 2013.

Thieves broke into the Ex-Servicemen's Club in Haverhill and stole its large flat screen television on Friday.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the burglary at the club, in Quakers Lane.

The incident happened on Friday, January 18, at around 3.45am. An offender broke into the property and stole a 51-inch Samsung flat-screen television.

* Police are also seeking witnesses following the theft of a motor vehicle from outside Car Scan in Boundary Road.

The incident happened between 10.45pm on Thursday, January 17 and 8am the following morning.

A yellow Vauxhall pick-up with the registration M199RRD and with the writing 'Car Scan' on the side, was stolen from outside the premises.
