Chamber invites families to go hunting for treasure

Tuesday, 6th July 2010.

Haverhill Chamber of Commerce members will be abandoning their sat navs and looking for clues at the organisation’s annual family car treasure hunt.

Organised by Paul Cammiss of Haverhill’s Adams Harrison solicitors, the hunt starts at The Cock Inn in Thurlow at 6pm and takes place around Haverhill and surrounding villages.

Each team will be given clues to look for around the countryside and the team that gets all the clues win. The event, on Tuesday, July 13, is free and open to members and non-members of the chamber. Participants will finish at a pub for a meal and refreshments.

Sarah Howard, chairman of Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, said: “This is an annual event that we have run for many years now and is extremely popular.

"Members and non-members of the chamber can bring family and friends along and still network with businesses from Haverhill and surrounding area while having a bit of fun."

Entry to the event is free but places must be booked in advance. Email Sue Warren at suewarren@haverhillchamber.co.uk.
