Child Sex Charges

Police have charged a 25 year old man from Haverhill with a number of offences under the new Sexual Offences Act 2003, including sexual grooming.
Jamie Gunn, from Parr Road in Haverhill, had been charged with 12 offences, including meeting a child following sexual grooming, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, sexual activity with a child and sexual activity with a child involving penetration.
Gunn was arrested on Wednesday June 30, following reported concerns from the mother of a 13 year old girl from Haverhill.
He was released on bail and was due to appear at Bury st Edmunds Magistrates Court today.
