Coffee mornings for businesswomen re-launched

Friday, 5th March 2010.

WoMenta, which aims to encourage and equip women who are running or looking to set up their own business in Suffolk, will re-launch its free coffee mornings for businesswomen in Haverhill on Wednesday, March 17.

The coffee mornings will take place on Wednesdays every month at Frankie and Bennys in Ehringshausen Way, Haverhill, from 9.30am to 11am. The first event of 2010 on March 17 will be sponsored by Business Link.

The format is relaxed, the coffee is free and there will be plenty of opportunity to network with other businesswomen.

There is no requirement to attend regularly and no membership fee. Plus there will be a business card draw to win a bottle of champagne.

Event organiser Sue Warren of Haverhill-based public relations consultancy Simply PR said: “As a regular attendee last year I was delighted to be asked to take on the running of the coffee mornings. As a business owner who has gained work through a direct result of attending these networking events, I think they are invaluable to businesswomen in Haverhill.

“Last year the events attracted a wide range of women in the Haverhill area who run their own business, are thinking of starting a business or work for companies in the area.

"They are a great way to make new contacts, promote your business, generate new leads and make friends. Best of all, the event is free.”

The event is open to any businesswomen in the Haverhill area. Book your place online at www.menta.org.uk/our-networking-events or contact Sue Warren at Simply PR on 01440 705578 for further information.
