Colleges tie up with Ridgeons to deliver training

Ridgeons Green Light Centre, along with the college centres, will work with professionals across the sector to deliver training that covers biomass boilers, solar thermal, solar PV, heat pumps and rainwater harvesting.
The opportunities offered from the Government’s Green Deal initiative will be fully supported by this partnership with a comprehensive training programme.
Both colleges have a long tradition of delivering outstanding construction training and both have invested significantly in new facilities within the sustainable sector.
The colleges say forming this partnership with one of the region’s leading builders merchants will help advance the region’s drive in energy and low carbon skills.
