Crash casualty cut free by fire crew

A two-vehicle accident blocked Burton End in Haverhill at lunchtime today (Saturday) as a fire crew was called to release a trapped motorist.
The accident happened around 12.20am and firefighters from Haverhill attended and had to cut a casualty free from one of the vehicles.
The injured person was taken to hospital by ambulance snd the road re-opened during the afternoon.
