Culina Will Double Jobs at Haverhill Business Park

Monday, 30th June 2008.

In early August, when Culina Logistics open their new bespoke 194,510 sq ft distribution facility on Haverhill Business Park they will be employing some 350 people on site – bringing job numbers created so far at the Park to a total in excess of 650.

Suffolk Observatory figures show that there are presently only four other companies in Haverhill employing over 200 people, making Culina Logistics one of the most significant new employers to come to the town for many years.

The Business Park has already succeeded in attracting other major new employers to the Haverhill. The very first occupier on the Park, Percy Dalton’s, currently employs around 130 staff at its headquarters on the site.

Nic Rumsey of Park developers Carisbrooke Investments commented, "It is extremely satisfying to see our faith in Haverhill as an excellent business location paying off in this way. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the exceptional range, quality and flexibility of the labour force here in Haverhill is of vital importance to the success of the Park in attracting large employers such as Culina and Percy Dalton when they are considering where to locate substantial new facilities such as these. We look forward to continued success!"
