Date Set For Porn Trial

Councillor Mabon Dane has denied possessing indecent images of children.
The Haverhill Town Councillor pleaded not guilty to 16 charges of making indecent images of children and one of possessing an indecent image when he appeared at Ipswich Crown Court last week.
His trial was fixed to start on Monday, October 10. It is expected to last five days.
Danes bail was extended and a case progression hearing will be held on Friday, July 8.
The charges were brought after a dawn raid on Dane's home in Withersfield Road, Haverhill, last year.
He has strongly protested his innocence of the charges against him.
