Driver who frightened woman penalised

A 66-year-old man from Haverhill has been given a fixed penalty notice for causing alarm or distress following an incident in the street in Burton End in Haverhill on Friday.
A woman claimed she was nearly run down by a car which climbed the pavement, after she got out of her car to see what was causing a traffic hold-up.
