Police and emergency services turned up on Haverhill's market square today (Saturday), but luckily no one was in danger.

As part of their initiatives to educate the public they attended with displays and equipment of interest to all the family.

The police's BikeSafe Team was be there, along with the fire brigade and the advanced motorists simulator.

There was also be plenty for children to do, including exploring the inside of a police car and trying out the siren.
