Firefighters release four trapped after crash
Tuesday, 17th September 2013.
The A143 in and out of Haverhill was blocked at Little Wratting for several hours yesterday as emergency services dealt with a three-vehicle crash.
Two cars and a lorry were involved and the fire service from Haverhill and Wickhambrook were called out around 4.15pm.
They found casualties trapped in both cars and had to release four people in all, who were all taken to hospital.
The road remained closed for more than three hours.
