WOMEN golfers from Haverhill got a big thank you from the MacMillan Cancer Relief's Suffolk organiser Sharon Ireland when she presented them with a trophy .
The Haverhill Ladies team won the MacMillan Cancer Relief Midlands Trophy competition, with match fees from the event donated to the charity.
It was the first time that Haverhill has won the event.
The team was Stella Renyard, Laura Wilderspin, Denise Walker, Heather Eldred, Linda Gordon, Wendy Wilderspin, Pauline Calmet and Pat Kennedy.
