Halloween and bonfire night see smashed windows

Tuesday, 6th November 2012.

Police in Haverhill are appealing for information after the window of a house on the Meadowlands estate was smashed by pumpkins at Halloween.

At least two of the vegetables were thrown at the window of the house in Colbeck Road between 11.50pm on Wednesday, October 31, and 8am the following day – causing the outer pane of the double glazed window to smash.

Calls with information can be made to PC Michael Potter on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police are also appealing for information after a black Chrysler Voya was damaged in Norton Road on the Clements estate.

Between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Monday unknown offenders smashed the driver window of the people carrier - although nothing was taken from inside.

Calls with information can be made to PC Robert Bunton on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
