Haverhill Angling Club news

Last Sunday's open match on the Floodpark at Haverhill was attended by 11 anglers spread out around the lake with Sandy Dickson coming out on top with 19lb 6oz, of which 15lb 4oz was a fine-looking mirror carp.
Sandy was fishing from the Withersfield bank, fishing a feeder towards the corner of the island.
Second was newcomer to the open matches Mark Freeman with 9lb 2oz also from the Withersfield bank and third was Keiron McDonagh with 8lb 10oz.
The next open will take place on October 21, draw 8-30am, fish 10-4pm. Contact Danny Porter on 07595 631478 for details.
