Haverhill golfers through in national event

With the recent spell of bad weather, only one competition was played at Haverhill Golf Club last week, on Sunday, January 17.
The winners of the qualifying round for the Daily Mail Foursomes event were Malcolm Klingle and Bob Spittle with a fantastic score of 77-11-66.
In second place with a score of 83-14-69 were club president Christopher Briggs, and Kim Ward, and in third place with a score of 83-13-70 were Dan Wilkins and Dave Pipe.
Congratulations go to Malcolm and Bob, who will now represent Haverhill in the next round of this national amateur golf event.
