Japanese influence on Samuel Ward

Thursday, 1st February 2001.

YEAR nine has an assembly with a difference on Thursday when all 170 of them did a Japanese-style warm up followed by a dance to the music of Bob the Builder.
The activity was fun and aimed at promoting dance, community activity and coordination.
Year 11 were presented with a new football kit, sponsored by AXA Insurance, which they proudly wore during their cup match with Castle Manor.
About 20 pupils from College Anne Frank in France arrived on Wednesday to take part in the annual exchange.
Pupils are staying with English hosts who will return to France later in the year.
The pupils are going to London, Cambridge and Rollerworld in Colchester.
The parent teacher association are organising a Craft Fair for May 13.
