Leisure centre has programme of half-term fun lined up

A host of sports activities for youngsters will be on offer at the popular holiday camps at Haverhill Leisure Centre this February half-term.
Children can take part in the camps for a morning or afternoon, a whole day or even the whole week.
For children aged six and over the popular School’s Out Holiday Camps will offer a wide variety of sports delivered by qualified coaches including athletics, swimming, team sports, football, basketball, racket sports, squash tennis and laser blast. There will also be film afternoons and arts and crafts.
Amelia Epton, Abbeycroft’s Sports Development & physical activity officer, said: “The holiday camps give children a chance to try out sports that they may not have tried or even considered before and they are a great way of keeping active over half term.”
Activities are individually priced. Holiday camps cost £5 for a morning or afternoon session. For the whole day (9am to 5pm) it costs £9.99 per child and £48 for the week.
Parents can add on an early drop-off at 8.30am and a late pick-up at 5.30pm at an additional cost.
