Man arrested and bailed after sex attack

A man who was arrested following an allegation of sexual assault in Haverhill has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
The alleged attack happened when a 19-year-old woman had been walking along Crowland Road between 3am and 4am on Sunday, August 31.
The woman had been returning home after a night out in the town centre with friends when she was approached by a man who assaulted her.
Police arrested a 31-year-old man from Haverhill on suspicion of rape and he was taken to the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning - he has since been released on police bail and will be required to return on October 31.
