Man Attacks Teenager
Wednesday, 16th July 2003.
A TEENAGER was pushed over by a tattooed man who had asked her for money.
The 15-year-old was extremely shaken by the attack, which took place as she was walking along Wratting Road in Haverhill on Friday morning and left her with a grazed knee and palms.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at about 8.20am.
The man in his 30s approached the girl and took hold of her arm. He asked her if she had any money, but she made no reply and turned to walk away.
The man then pushed her from behind causing her to fall to the floor, and then ran off towards the town.
The man is described as white, of skinny-to-medium build, about 6ft tall, with short dark hair and a short moustache, wearing scruffy jeans, a scruffy dark coloured T-shirt and a dark woolly hat.
He had tattoos the full length of both arms including snakes and a heart shape.
