Man bailed over rape claim

On Sunday morning police cordoned off the pathway which runs through St Mary’s Churchyard.
A spokesman for Suffolk Police confirmed allegations of a rape in Haverhill was being investigated by officers.
The male who is thought to be from the local area has been released on police bail pending further inquires.
