Man Rips Shirt Off Girl, 14

Thursday, 14th September 2006.

A 14-year-old girl fought off an attacker, who ripped open her shirt as she was walking along at 8.30 in the morning.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault which happened on Thursday, September 7th, as the girl walked along York Road in Haverhill.

She was approached by a man who nudged her and then ripped her shirt open, causing three buttons to pop off. The girl kneed the male in the groin area and ran off.

The attacker is described as white, 6ft tall and of skinny build, with a spotty complexion, brown eyes, wearing a black cap with a Nike tick on the front, a grey hooded top and blue silky tracksuit bottoms.
