Man robbed of mobile phone in the street

Monday, 16th August 2010.

Police are appealing for information after a man was robbed in Withersfield Road, Haverhill, in the early hours of yesterday.

The incident happened between 2.10am and 2.15am when a man in his 20s was robbed in the street.

He was approached by a man who assaulted him before a second male came over. The men demanded his phone which he handed over.

At this point the man’s lift arrived and he left in a car. The robbers were last seen walking towards Cambridge.

The first is described as white, in his early 20s, 6ft tall, of slim build with a pale and spotty complexion, brown eyes and short brown hair gelled in a quiff. He was wearing blue jeans and a dark grey and white tracksuit top.

The second man is described as white, in his early 20s, 6ft tall, of slim build with a tanned complexion and was wearing a light blue tracksuit top, blue jeans and white trainers.
