Matt Hancock welcomes consultation on Exning Post Office

Local MP Matt Hancock has welcomed the news that the Post Office are proposing to move the Post Office branch in Exning into the Londis store in the village.
If the move goes ahead, the Post Office will change to a new style branch, with the same amount of services and longer opening hours.
Commenting, Matt Hancock MP said:
“This announcement by the Post Office is good news for Exning. I have always been clear that the Post Office must remain in the village. While many would have preferred for the Post Office branch to remain open, I welcome the news that residents will not have to leave Exning to get to a Post Office, and that the new Post Office in Londis will be open for longer hours.”
