EASTER hats of all shapes and sizes presented town major Gerry Kiernan with a dilemma at the Stepping Stones Playgroup, Haverhill, last week.
Coun Kiernana went along to Chalkstone Community Centre to judge the hats which 38 youngsters had made during the morning session.
Winners were: 1, Thomas Westley; 2, Sam Hills; 3, Jordan Horner, all aged three.
Playleader Elaine McManus said all the children received an Easter egg and had a wonderful morning.
The popular group has recently started afternoon sessions to accommodate all four-year-olds and anyone interested in places can go on the waiting list for September by ringing (01440) 761018
