Mixed fortunes for ladies tennis team

In the Norfolk & Suffolk Tennis League Division One, Haverhill Ladies tennis team lost away to Bury Risbygate 6-2
Haverhill players were the pairing of young Abi Cartright-Thomas & Lucy Hardwick and the experienced Marcia Armstrong & Gill Argent.
The ladies did better in their next match away against Bury Victory drawing 4-4.
The players were Abi Cartright-Thomas & Rachel Jeffs and Marcia Armstrong & Gill Argent.
In the Norfolk & Suffolk Division Three the Haverhill Mens B team drew 4-4 at home with Burwell.
Jake Warner & Simon Goddard won all of their four sets. 6-4, 7-5 against Dennis Peacock & David Turner and 7-6, 6-4 against Mark Bishop & Joe Langly.
The Haverhill second pair of Ray Goddard & Ken Hurrell had a different outcome losing all four, 2-6, 3-6 v Bishop & Langly and 4-6, 1-6 v Peacock & Turner
