Motorcyclist dies in collision with car

A MOTORCYCLIST was killed in a crash near Saffron Walden yesterday morning.
Thirty-three-year-old David Webster of Rowan Close, Haverhill had been driving his blue Yamaha motorcycle on Bartlow Road, Ashdon.
He was involved in a collision with a green Peugeot 206 travelling in the opposite direction at 7.50am and died at the scene.
The woman driver of the Peugeot was treated for shock by paramedics.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident and anyone with information is asked to call (01376) 330722.
