Mum opens her home for cancer relief

Thursday, 16th September 1999.

BUSY mother-of-three Nicola Rogers, pictured left, is to open up her home as part of the World's Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Mrs Rogers, 30, of 36 Mallow Walk, Haverhill, wants to raise as much money as possible as the charity attempts to break its own world record.
Last year over a million people took part in the event and raised more than £2 million.
Mrs Rogers found out last month that her husband's father has cancer.
She said: "Cancer touches everyone. This is a way of raising as much money as possible and giving something back for the charity's work."
Everyone is welcome to call at her home between 8.30am and noon on October 1 for a coffee break, to add their signatures to the charity's list of supporters and to give a donation to help local people with cancer.
