Wednesday, 17th March 2010.

Haverhill police's concerns about the arrival of the new legal drug mephedrone, known as meow meow, in Haverhill were backed up today when the drug was linked with the deaths of two teenagers in Lincolnshire.

Louis Wainwright and Nicholas Smith, both 19 took the legal 'high', sold as plant food, an later collapsed when they were out with friends early on Monday in Scunthorpe.

Campaigners have renewed their efforts to get the drug classified by the Government as a result.
