New initiative in marketing town's research park

Friday, 6th March 2015.

London commercial property consultants Bray Fox Smith have been appointed as joint agents to market the Haverhill Research Park in Haverhill, alongside existing agents Carter Jonas and Cheffins.

Rob Bray and Sim Khatkar of Bray Fox Smith will be the representatives acting on the park.

Nic Rumsey, director of Jaynic, the developer of Haverhill Research Park, said: “We welcome Rob and Sim to the team. Their London contacts will be invaluable in helping us all to identify potential occupiers for the park.”

Bray said: “We are looking forward to working with Nic and his team and our joint agents Carter Jonas and Cheffins, who are doing a great job at attracting interest from the Cambridgeshire region.

"We know that there is a great deal of interest in and around Cambridge from life sciences, biotech and IT companies. These leads often come from international companies whose first point of call is, invariably, the London agency community.”

Haverhill Research Park has been transformed into a high-quality, fully-serviced business environment at the entrance to Haverhill from Cambridge.

Infrastructure is now in place to deliver new office/R&D and business space ranging in size from 200sq ft for a single occupancy suite within the managed innovation centre The Epicentre, to large scale research facilities or head-quarter buildings up to 230,000sq ft (21,368sq m).

The Flying Shuttle, a Marstons Rotisserie restaurant and bar at the front of the research park opened last May and the keys to the first completed homes on Taylor Wimpey’s 150-home Arboretum adjacent to the site were handed over at the same time.

A Colourbox Montessori nursery will be open on Haverhill Research Park for September 2015 entry.
