Police link series of shed break-ins

Police are linking four shed break-ins which took place in Haverhill and Little Wratting last week.

The first incident occurred overnight between Tuesday, May 13 and the following day at an address in Ashlea Close, Haverhill, where a padlock was cut to gain access to the shed and a chainsaw and lawnmower were stolen from inside.

The next reported burglary took place at some time between 6pm on Monday, May 12, and 9am on Wednesday, May 14, in Haverhill Road, Little Wratting, where a Honda lawnmower, Mantis rotavator, hedge trimmer and .22 air rifle were stolen.

The final two break-ins both occurred overnight between Tuesday, May 13 and the following day, also at properties in Haverhill Road, Little Wratting.

Items were stolen in both instances including another Honda Lawnmower, two strimmers, a hedge trimmer and a rotavator.
