Police seek witnesses after two burglaries

Monday, 9th December 2013.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a daytime burglary in on Friday Haverhill.

The incident occurred between 12pm and 2.20pm in Bishops Close.

The thief got in by smashing a rear window and items of jewellery were stolen including a gold wedding band, a ladies watch with a pearl coloured dial and an antique pendant.

Anyone with information about this burglary is asked to contact the Bury St Edmunds Priority Crime Team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

* Police are also appealing for witnesses after a house was broken into on Thursday.

This incident took place between 8am and 6.30pm at a house in Hudson Close.

The thieves got in by smashing the glass in a conservatory door, but no property was subsequently stolen.
