Police seek woman in CCTV after shop theft

Monday, 25th November 2013.

Police are releasing CCTV images of a woman they would like to speak to after a shoplifting offence in Haverhill.

The theft occurred at around midday on Thursday, November 14, at a shop in the High Street, where an item of clothing was stolen.

Police would like to speak to the woman pictured in the CCTV in relation to this incident. She is described as white, aged in her 20s, around 5ft 7in tall, with black hair pulled back and wearing a blue top, dark coat and brown boots.

Anyone who believes they know this woman is asked to contact PC Jim Carlile at the Investigations Management Unit on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

* Two engraved glass tankards were stolen from a car parked in Sperling Drive overnight a week ago.

Police are seeking witnesses after a Black Vauxhall Corsa had its offside rear window smashed and the items taken, sometime between 6.30pm on Sunday, November 17 and 8am the following day.
