Pupils celebrate year of success

Thursday, 8th November 2001.

PUPILS, staff and parents celebrated a year of success at the annual awards presentation evening at Samuel Ward Upper School and Technology College.

Janet Wellings, senior education officer, praised the Haverhill school for its outstanding success and Bob Shepstone, chairman of Governors, presented the prizes.

Musical entertainment was provided by Yvonne Beddow, Justine Bates, Stephen Moore and William Welch.

Prizes were awarded to: Year 9 ­ John Beddow, Chloe Bishop, James Bishop, Matthew Curry, Alison Dellar, Sarah Evans, Peter Hall, Siobhan Hearns, Sarah Hurst, Paul Holl, Dawn Jason, Rebecca Livings, Amy Lock, Luke Mott, Sally Morton, Michael Renton, Helen Thake, Rachel Watts, Lucy Welch, Ester Wiffen, Jody Wong.

Year 10 ­ Alex Bolden, Hayley Clark, Daniel Hensby, Ben Hickes, James Hickford, Rebekah Hounsell, Lee House, Zoe King, Matthew Last, Emma Meade, Jamie Moss, Michael Poole, Hannah O'Donoghue, Willow Outhwaite, Elliot Page,Nicholas Rutter, Jemma Thake, Victoria Warman, Luke Withers.
