A NEW electronic news letter containing information about Haverhill is now available free of charge to anyone who has access to e-mail.
The mailing list has been compiled by the Haverhill-UK website and local councillor Gerry Kiernan. It will be produced every few weeks, containing information about the town and local events.
The December issue contains essential information about the Christmas period and news of events in Haverhill.
It also contains information on chemist opening times, refuse collections, council contact numbers, where to get information on the Millennium bug and local events over the holiday period.
Jason Fitzpatrick, of Haverhill-UK, said the team were continuing to provide more and more information on the Haverhill site and were now making the electronic newsletter available.
Gerry Kiernan, a county, borough and town councillor, said: "It is important to use all ways of contacting local people with important and interesting information. I will look forward to hearing people's views on this service."
