Haverhill Rovers under 15s ran riot in the first round of the Suffolk Cup, dispatching a hapless Brandon side who by the end of the game were completely dispirited.

It took ten minutes for Rovers to get on the scoresheet when Clarke coolly scored the first, the second and third followed quickly, Robson and Bishop duly obliging.

Although Rovers pressed the score remained 3-0 at half time. The second half goal blitz started with a Gathercole hat-trick and it seemed that every time Rovers went forward a goal would follow.

The rest of the scorers were: Noonan, a Haines free kick, Robson, Bishop completing his hat-trick, Adam Palmer, Mark Palmer and two by Taylor.

Rovers now go on to meet their Colts League
counterparts in the next round.
