Sex attack inquiry halted

POLICE have halted their inquiry into an indecent assault allegation after the complaint was withdrawn.
Originally, a 30-year-old woman told the police she had been dragged onto the town’s Railway Walk on Sunday, October 14, by a hooded attacker and indecently assaulted.
Detectives have since re-interviewed the woman and she has now withdrawn her complaint.
Suffolk Police say they are now satisfied that no assault took place.
