Cricketers at Haverhill have received smart new tracksuits, to give them a boost at the start of the season in a new league.

Last season ended in triumph when Haverhill won promotion as Division Four champions in the Hargreaves Two Counties League.

Captain Steve Jones received the new kit from Gurteens menswear and said support from locally based firms helped significantly towards making Haverhill the best club around the region.

“This was a major sponsorship deal and I would like to thank Christopher Gurteen personally for his support to the club.

“It is nice that local businesses get involved and try to make the club a better place to play. His continued contributions are a major help in attracting the very best players from the surrounding areas,” Mr Jones said.
