Snow now on the retreat
Monday, 11th January 2010.

As the snow begins to disappear here are some pictorial reminders of the longest period the town has been under a white blanket for 25 years.
It snowed on December 17, and although it mostly melted away after Christmas, returned on New Year's Eve and is still around 12 days later.
The last time there was a serious snowfall in Haverhill which lasted more than a week was in 1985.
