Steeple Bumpstead Hit by Floods
Friday, 15th June 2007.
Steeple Bumpstead was hit by flash floods during Thursday evening after storms and heavy rain engulfed the eastern region. Both West Suffolk and North Essex experienced some of the worst conditions.
Flooding in Steeple Bumpstead was particularly severe with waters rising so dramatically that a number of residents were forced to evacuate their homes for the night.
